제7차 교육과정 한문과의 성격, 목표에 대한 단상
Fragmentary thoughts about the character and the object of the department of Chinese classics in The 7th Curriculum
Two representative literatures that record Dangun Myth are ?Samgukyusa? by Ilyeon(一然) and ?Jewangungi(帝王韻紀)? by Lee Seung-hyu(李承休). However, comparison of the two books shows slight difference not only in contents but also in notation. In brief, Dangun(壇君), Sindansu(神壇樹), Dansusin(壇樹神) in ?Samgukyusa? are recorded as Dangun(檀君, Sindansu(神檀樹), Dansusin(檀樹神). The difference may look to be insignificant but it can be profound in meaning enough to change the interpretation of the myth. By the way, what is truly strange is that the oldest one among available versions of ?Samgukyusa?, which was published in 1512, used 壇君 to refer to Dangun while a large number of various types of literatures published before the version all used 檀君. What is more striking is that not a few literatures that seem to quote directly from ?Samgukyusa? also use 檀君 without exception. These facts are enough to incur doubt if 壇君 in ?Samgukyusa? is a misspelling of 檀君. Thus, study on Dangun Myth must start again from the task of determining whether or not 壇君 in ?Samgukyusa? is a misspelling of 檀君.
