This study is to look into the ecological writing of the classics, to apply it for the education of ecology and to find out the possible approach to the education of composition. The prose of Lee Duk-Mu is chosen in this study, because he wrote with deep concern to the things of nature. Firstly, it approaches the position of the writer as an writer of ecology and his esthetic point of view. He considered the insignificant things as the equal value as the priceless things, and found the high reason in the meticulous images of things. On this base, it found what Hyung-Am learned from the natural features of the season and the things, how he approached writing the things of the nature, especially, with two points of 'the change of recognition in the reason of the things' and of 'the allusion from the ecology of the things”. His writings show that the reason revealed in the ecology of the things is associated with the activities of human being. And Hyung-Am showed in his writings of healing the inner mind from the natural features of the season. He achieved his own unique personality to reveal the new comparison, not following the precedent. The ecological writing of Lee Duk-Mu makes sense in today's education of composition. Firstly, the importance of investigation. Secondly, there is a skill in describing the things. Thirdly, the deep investigation into the things of the nature and the understanding of it can develop the new capability of writing. The ecological writing can make certain role in healing the mind of human being and developing the training of writing.
