고등학교 태권도 선수들의 부상에 관한 조사 연구
A Statistical Study on Injuries occurring in High School Taekwondo Players

    In this study, the conclusions were derived from a questionnaire survey of participants who had injury experience. For this purpose, a research was conducted with 342 high-school taekwondo players participating in games, regardless of gender, followed by frequency analysis and cross-tabulation analysis using SPSS 12.0, drawing the following conclusions.1) According to the survey results, the frequency and time of injury occurrence were: For frequency,'3~4 times' was highest at 32.2% (110 players), '7 times' at 26.6% (91 players), For time of injury,'hours of game practice' was highest at 35.4% (121 players).2) For cause of injury, 'lack of warm-up' was highest at 18.7(64 players).3) The survey results for seasons, time zone and locations were: Injuries in winter was highest at 46.2%(158 players), followed by summer at 25.1% (86 players), and autumn at 19.6%(67 players). For time period, 'afternoon hours' was highest at 64.9%(222 players), 'training site at school' 38.0% (130players).4) According to the survey of arm injuries, 'fingers' were the highest at 29.5% (89 players).5) For leg injuries, the knees at (37.4%) and shins at (35.4%) appeared to have the highest frequency.6) For injuries of the face and head, lip injuries were highest at 25.2% (41 players).7) As for kinds of injury, of bone fractures were highest at 24.6% (84 players).8) According to responses to the question of receiving first-aid, 'self-treatment' was highest at 34.2%(117 players). As for first-aid procedure, 'hospital treatment' was highest at 32.7%. As for psychological state during injury, 'devotion to healing' was highest at 30.1%, but 'desire to quit' was high as well.9) Regarding prevention methods against injury, 'sufficient warm-up cool-down' was highest at 32.5% (111players), followed by 'sufficient relaxation for recovery' at 27.2%(93players), followed by 'reduction of training hours and competition'(14.6%) and psychological stability (9.6%)in order
