A Study on the Moderating Effect of Emotional Intelligence and Turnover Intention by Job Embeddedness
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect on the moderating variable of employees' emotional intelligence, job embeddedness and turnover intention. For verification the purpose of this study established the variable as followings; First, the independence variable established the job embeddedness of employees. and then, The variable classified the sub variable of fit, links and organizational sacrifice. Second, the result variable established the turnover intention. Third, the modification variable established the emotional intelligence. To investigate the relationship, 204 workers who had worked in Cheon Buk-province were studied. and, To verified of hypothesis used the statistical methodology of the anova, t-test and regression analysis.The results of this study were as follows: First, the level of job embeddedness is different as a personal characteristic. Second, as a result of regression analysis to find out negative effects of the emotional intelligence to job embeddedness and turnover intention. third, it tested the negative influence of the job embeddedness on the turnover intention, specially the effective of the sacrifice variable is hight level. This study contributes for finding the sources of job embeddedness and analyzing the influence of the turnover intention by emotional intelligence. And the results if this analysis allows the management to establish turnover management strategy.
