의례의 교육학적 의미에 대한 탐구
A study on educational meaning of ritual

    As the social behavior, ritual behavior is newly focused. Until now, negative aspects of ritual have been often mentioned in ritual studies. But, ritual is recently recreated in the aspect of social relationship's weakening. In this context, it's necessary to focus on ritual behavior as an educational behavior, beyond the anthropological subject. When watching ritual behavior from a pedagogical perspective, it's closely related to learning process at informal and non-formal level rather than formal level. In case of our country, ritual studying by formal educational mechanism such as school makes lots of effects educationally, but studying by ritual behavior shown by adult group in daily life also makes lots of effects. Ritual provides practical knowledge through the corporality, performativity and mimetic learning process, so it makes a strong effect. For example, it's important to examine formal education of married immigrant women for the problem, how they study in Korean society. But, which practical knowledge and attitude they are learning in Korean cultural process can be understood more easily by examining big and small ritual process, they meet. The purpose of this study is to embark on a new chapter of pedagogical study on various ritual behavior which makes an effect in Korean society by examining the theoretic models of recent studies on pedagogical ritual.
