유아체육 운영에 관한 인식 조사 연구 - 운영실태와 발전방향을 중심으로
The Awareness Study for the Management of the Early Childhood Physical Education -Focusing on the Actual Conditions of the Management and its Direction of Development-
In this study we compared and analyzed the difference in perceptions between 97 teachers and 107 parents on the actual condition of development, knowledge, curriculum and the direction of development of physical education in preschool children by the questionnaire. The result from the data is following; First, most of the physical education teachers in the preschool children educational institutions majored physical education, and have a physical education certification for preschool children Most educational institutions had facilities for physical education and had a lesson 1.22 times a week with 37.06 munites of duration. The programs for physical education in preschool children are adopted from various professional programs or developed in their own institution. The programs are consist of the plays for tools, movement education, plays with balls, and gymnastics. Most teachers have participated in the programs related with physical education in preschool children. Secondly, the most important things to promote physical education for preschool children they think are to develope and spread programs for physical education in preschool children, to inform people the importance of physical education in preschool children, to give teachers more opportunities to participate in the programs related in physical education in preschool children, The expansion of the text and facilities for physical education in preschool children and the change in perceptions of parents or the directors of institutions. It is needed that the importance and the need of physical education for preschool children should be known not only to teachers who teach preschool children but also to pedagogists, physical educators. The Government and the education ministry should have more budget to help institutions which does not have enough facilities. To make physical education for children continue to adult physical activities. Various programs also should be developed and the institution to teach physical educators for children should be established.
