Effects of Dance Program on Healthy Lifestyle and Health Status of the Elderly
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of continuous dance program for the elderly on the lifestyle of the elderly and to increase the awareness of physical health, mental health and social health through participation of physical activity. The purpose of this study is to verify whether the quality of life is improved. A study on the changes in health habits and health status of elderly people participating in a continuous dance program over 55 years of age. The results of this study are as follows. First, mental health has a low correlation with exercise habits, daily life habits, dietary habits, health cognitive habits, physical health, and social health. Health cognitive habits include exercise habits, daily life habits, Eating habits, and physical health (+). Second, there was no statistically significant difference in health habits according to gender. There were statistically significant differences in exercise habits, daily life habits, dietary habits, and health cognitive habits, which are sub-factors of healthy lifestyle habits, and statistically significant interaction effects on health habits and gender interaction I looked. Third, the analysis of health status by gender was not statistically significant. There was a statistically significant difference in the physical health, mental health, and social health sub-factors of health status, and there was no statistically significant interaction effect between health status and gender.
