University Students' Perceptions on the Level of Basic Elements Embedded in Cooperative Learning and Class Satisfaction
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the perception of university students on the level of basic elements embedded in cooperative learning and class satisfaction by learning style. Method: A total of 227 university students in Gwangju were surveyed to identify the perceptions on the level of basic elements embedded in cooperative learning, class satisfaction in major classes, and her/his learning style. Results: The results demonstrated that the perception of university students on the level of basic elements embedded in cooperative learning were positive and they were satisfied on cooperative learning in major classes. Males and freshmen year students were more satisfied with the classes applied cooperative learning. Conclusion: The University students who were participant learning style were more satisfied than the university students who were avoidant learning styles with major classes applied cooperative learning.
