The Analysis of Elementary Resource Circulation Education Contents Based on the 2015 Revised Curriculum Achievement Standard
The purpose of this study is to analyze the contents for elementary 'resource circulation education' according to the achievement standards of the 2015 revised education curriculum, and to provide a systematic education of balanced resource circulation education at school. The results of the study are as follows. First, the moral subject is suitable for teaching ethics to recall 'Rethink' of resource circulation education. On the individual level, recognizing the value of things can enhance the ability of environmental reflection and insight. Second, since social subject is important to understand the area and solve the problems of the local community, it is suitable to teach the resource circulation education systematically in the field in connection with social studies. Third, mathematics is a subject that can enhance competence such as problem solving and information literacy. It does not directly reveal the educational material of resource circulation, but it can be used in conjunction with resource circulation education to understand the main concepts of mathematics curriculum. Fourth, it was analyzed that science subject was adequate to address various areas and core competences related to resource circulation along with social subject. Therefore, science subject is much concerned with learning fundamental principles and concepts of resource circulation education in basic understanding of matter, ecosystem, and mixture. Fifth, practical arts included contents about the production and consumption of resources related to the food·clothing·shelter, and the sustainable society and the future. Therefore, it can be utilized for the materials of the resource circulation education. Sixth, art subject is related to upcycling area. Although art subject does not deal directly with the resource consumption and resource reduction, it is effective for various teaching methods that can be used to utilize waste resources or useless junk to produce goods of better quality or better environmental value than the orignal.
