Action Research on Inclusive Education through the Learning Community Class
This action research is about how the learning community class is applied to inclusive education. The learning community class has recently become a leader in classroom innovation to practice the class no child left out in general education. The participants in this study consisted of sixth-grade students in N elementary school and included one student with a severe disability, one student with a mild disability and nine general education students. Three general education teachers and two special education teachers also participated in the learners' community. We collected data from eight classes and nine discussions. As a result of analysis First, we realized that the learning community class was suitable for inclusive education. Second, we studied the participants' changes and reflections. This study practiced inclusive education through classroom innovation movement played a leading role in general education. Therefore, this study will help teachers to overcome viewing general education and special education as separate, and instead regard them as part of a single education system.
