Nurbs를 이용한 캠 기구의 운동해석과 최적화에 관한 연구

Cam-follower systems are frequently used in all kinds of machines. These are one of the most useful mechanisms to perform a prescribed motion of a follower and are found wide applications in a variety of automatic machines, such as textile machine, printing machine, press machine, automobile engine, and so on. Compared to linkages, cams are easier to design to give a specific output function, but they are much more difficult to make the accurate shape on the design and the manufacture. Because the cam shape is commonly made in order to move in special functions. This paper presents the motion analysis and optimization of cam mechanism by using NURBS(Nonuniform Rational B-spline curve). The motion analysis and optimization of cam mechanism can be used to check accuracy between the designed data and the manufactured data of the cam shape and also reproduce the cam without the design data. The motion analysis is used the central difference method and the relative velocity method to find the displacement and the velocity. The central difference method is derived in the 2 dimensional space and the 3 dimensional space. The optimization(curve fitting) is used NURBS to develope the whole curve(displacement, velocity, acceleration curve) and reduce error. Each motion analysis and optimization in graphically are programed. A friendly user interface is also considered.
