    The ride comfortability, accuracy of landing position and the service time are important factors to make a decision performance of elevator system. The high performance of elevator system is settled according to how to control elevator based on velocity pattern. This is very difficult problem because riding comfort, position accuracy and service time are mutually exclusive. Elevator system has many different velocity patterns according to each operation mode. So a detailed analysis related to velocity pattern and so many test are essential condition. In order to help solution about this difficulty, new velocity pattern generation and simulation environment construct based on PC are proposed in this paper. The proposed simulation environment consists of PC and serial communication to interface elevator controller. This simulator is mainly implemented by software provides easiness for test, cost effective environment and improvement for maintenance. The proposed newly velocity pattern comes from re-generation velocity pattern at the deceleration time. The velocity generator controls real velocity pattern to follow re-generated reference velocity pattern using by feedback control of position in deceleration section. This velocity pattern improves ride comfortability, accuracy of landing position and service time. The verification needs to apply proposed velocity pattern to real elevator system because the elevator system may have different results according to test condition about load weight and elevator start position.
