    As the high information age has come in the 21th century, each school has been provided with many teaching equipments connected with computer. Therefore the management of equipments is very important. This paper attempts to design and implement the teaching equipment failure management system based on Web. This system which is composed of two aspects, the aspect of the equipment management and the equipment failure management, emphasizes the followings for the distinction of the existing equipment management system. On the aspect of the equipment management, this system makes it possible to grasp the existing state of the possession of equipments through the Web, to judge whether the equipment can be used or not, to rapidly convert the old equipments, and to smoothly transfer the business to the agent when the equipment agent is replaced. On the aspect of the equipment failure management, this system makes it possible to have the user repair the failure, if it is simple, through a notice board. If the failure is complex, this system makes it possible to have the user register the failure and check the state or result of measures to the equipment failure through the Web, resulting in enhancing availability of the equipments. Besides, this system can offer some statistics related with the occurrence of equipment failures. This system will make some contribution to develop the practical application program for the various institutions.
