With the advent of a digital era, people are increasingly resorting to cyber lectures to complement school lessons or acquire necessary information on the Cyber Space. This study is mainly aimed at introducing a research on cyber lectures using multimedia, as a way to carry out a creative teaching which is required in an information society like today by eliciting an interest from students on a certain subject and lecture and activating class discussions using various information technologies. This study also discusses the feasibility and potential effects of cyber lectures as a means to better future education in school. The 2nd Chapter of this study gives a general explanation about multimedia and reviews various application areas of multimedia, technological problems and other work devices. The 3rd Chapter gives an explanation about the characteristics of a digital education era, its core competences and educational policy directions. The 4th Chapter looks into the necessity of cyber lectures, its features and methods as well as how to build a suitable educational environment and improvement methods. The 5th Chapter discusses various application methods of multimedia, its development directions, design and embodiment methods, learning strategies, basic directions and possible problems in such processes. The 6th Chapter presents an overall conclusion and future tasks to study.
