    The name, Amazon.com, is always brought up whenever anyone wants to talk about the possibilities for e-commerce or about building an online business. And, "information management" and "e-commerce" are the topics of the contemporary business and said to be the keys to the survival in the 21st century. Thus, a case study of Amazon.com is conducted to find out how this famous e-commerce company has used information in its management and how information management has helped this company earn a good reputation among customers. This thesis shows that Amazon.com has used information in its management through customer orientation, personalization, and rich content. Its successful management of information leads to continuous innovations and globalization efforts.
