우리나라 常設割引 販賣店의 發展方向에 관한 硏究

In progressing this study, it was difficult to find the theories and methods which were suitable to apply to this theme, for there was little informed data related with the field in Korea. Especially, the information about Korean permanent discount store was too short in spite of collecting and analyzing data through marketing research. In 1993, Sinsegae opened E-Mart, a permanent discount store in Chang-dong area. On October 1994, Price Club, which is just for its members, was opened in Yangpyung-dong area. New Mart, a korean style discount store was started by New-core, department store. Such stoyes have become popular with customers. It is said that some department stores, including Hyundae, Grand and some major enterprises such as Sansung are going to open their own discount stores. The phenomenon, with increasing participations of many companies, means that the age of permanent discount store is coming. Under the whole opening of market system, the effect of development of new circulating market such as discount store is not limited only to the concerned traders. If advanced foreign-made goods if freely imported in korea, korean traders can not survive and home-made goods may be suffered by customers. The matters which should be improved to develop the new industry are as follows; 1. We should search for the original purpose of the permanent discount store. 2. It is in need that professional discounting traders participate in this business. 3. The role of storehouse should be strengthened. 4. We should try to develop the electric automation system. 5. We should improve the effectiveness of labor by machanizing and automatizing the equipment. 6. The sale scale should be enlarged by increasing the number of the stores. 7. The superior professional mar-power should be raised. 8. New models of goods should be created constantly. 9. The government should support the new business consistently.
