    This report was attempted, to fix proper positions of teachers in modern society by means of classifying scientifically teacher's activities which students are expecting, and analysing teacher's special characters which students like or dislike. In order to settle these problems, after the researcher inguired of 312 pupils by guestionnaires made by myself, the researcher inspected x^2 by PC/ SAS. The results are these; First, students are expecting friendly teachers in their twenties or thirties who graduated from a college and have different hobbies and talents. Second, they are expecting humorous teachers who aim at raising true men and coach their studies with them as the central figures Third they are looking forward to parental teachers who don't scold but praise with love and charity, encourage them and are warm-heartld. Fourth, pupils are expecting teachers who often have a talk with them about their characters, their plans for the future and their grades. Fifth, by investigation, students' favorite teachers are the teachers who keep their promises, are humorous and are warm-hearted. According to the above results, we can realite pupils are expecting teachers who lead their students democratically, being based on confidence and humanism.
