According to the improvement of material and spiritual conditions by the economical growth and to the increase of spare time, the necessity of golf popularization became to raised. So, this research would provide the basic data of the lowest stratum of golfer and activative measurement for the popularization of golf. For this purpose, the understanding and knowledge of golf, real condition of activity, facilitres and director of golf and activating method of golf was analyzed concentrately. The conclusions were as follow. 1. About the distrubution of age, it appeared to be 41% of forties and 30% of fifties, they commanded an overwhelming majority in golf society. So it appeared that the active period of golf was high in the middleaged and namhood. 2. About the purpose of golf, it appeared to be 44% of personal relation, 28% of health and physical strength, 12% of spare-time untilization in order. 3. About the physical changne after playing golf, it it appeared to be 50% of health improvement, 22% of physical strength, 32% of endurance improvement, 17% of weight control. 4. About the change of mental change after playing golf, it appeared to be 47% of stress solution, 32% of endurance improvement, 11% of confidence and 6% of freedom in order. 5. About the change at home after playing golf, it appeared to be 35% of liver to the full, 39% of negleting, 6% of no change in order. 6. About the using cost, it appeared to be 65% of so expensive, 335 of expensive and 2% of proper in order. 7. About the hinder elements of golf, it appeared to be 89% of over-expense, 40% of lack space, 11% of lack director in order. 8. About the standard direction of golf activation, it appeared to be 89% of government-regulative realxation and concern, 5% of general people, 3% of concern at school, 2% of social group concern and 1% of others in order. 9. About the prerequisite of golf popularization, it appeared to be 40% of price cutting, 39% of golf popularization, it appeared to be 40% of price cutting, 39% of public course extension, 14% of memberships right-abolition and 4% of cooperative group-support in order.
