The purpose of this study was to make a comparative research into the overall sports injury of middle school girl's basketball players, and to get their physical education teacher and basketball coaches to realize the importance of the safety and the precoation against accidents, and to provide them with basic data for the impoving of playing skills through the efficient practice and drill. To accomplish the purpose, the randomly chose 187 girls' baketball players who went to the middle schools across the country as subjects of this study. And the researcher has concluded the following things about the state of the occurrence of sports injury, medical treatments for sports injury and the degree of perception of sports injury by closely examing collected data and using SPSS, a statistical analysis program. First, concerning the state of the occurrnce of sports injury, it showed that the players suffered injuries mostly during practice time and also in the affernoon. And they were mostly injured in gynasiums in winter by colliding with each other. On the causes of their injuries, their own carelessness were the highest factor, and the reason of the carelessness was that they were tired and in bad condion. The cause of bad facilities resulted mostly from the slippery floors of gymnasiums, and the most defect of pratice method was the insufficient warmming-up. And their Psychological stress mostly came from their individual and family problems. Also, they got injured mostly around ankles and they suffered mostly from the skin blisters. Second, concerning the state of medical treatments for sports injury, it was showed the highest point that they did first aid treatments for themselves, got medical treatments in hospital, took more than 4 hours to get the treatments from the occurrence of injury, took no longer than I week to completely recover from the injuries at their own expense. Third, concerning the degree of their perception of sports injury, it indicated the highest point that they did not take any theoretical education of sports injury which they thought was necessary, nor did they take any regular medical examination. Also, they believed that the injuries could have been prevented by appropriate rest and refreshment.
