A study on the internalization, of respect for the old and filial piety. Because of the rapid social change and economic development, the thoughts of respect for the old and filial piety is becoming weak now. For this reason, this study intends to make internalization of the thoughts of respect for the old and filial piety, by using the learning type of role-playing and intend to make students have honest consciousness of the upper thoughts. In order to achieve this purpose the following targets should be raised. First, to make small-groups for the learning of the thoughts of respect for the old and filial piety. Second, by restructuring the class-type of role-playing and putting in operation, to make students have the consciousness of the upper thoughts. Third, by marking the upper thoughts be the life-style in everyday life, this study seeks internalization of the upper thoughs. To accomplish these targets this study sets up following problems. First, after investigating the actual state of the education of the upper thoughts, to analyze the result. Second, to carry out the practical study for internalization of the upper thoughts after adjusting that thoughts to students' consciousness states. Third, after carrying out the practial study, to investigate the degree of internalization and compare the before and after that investigation. For this study, 50 students and 50 parent were selected as a research sample, measurement tools from the of one's own work. The data was analyzed using percent. The result of the investigation revealed as following. First, in the case of the teachers, they need to improve the method of teaching and to use various materials. Second, in the case of the students, they are short of manner to their parents in the behavior and greetings, etc. And they are also short of in ethics, whereas they are very interested in the class type of role-playing. Third, in the case of the parents they have very strong interest in loving their children blindly and they are eager to educate their children while the real states of education is far from their eagerness. After that investigation this study found out that the class type of role-playing was very effective in internalization of the thoughts of repect the old and filial piety. And it was proved that the students are very interested in the class type of role-playing so that the internalization of that thoughts was remarkably improved by the question investigation about the change of the that thoughts of the students'
