The methods which are used in the water supply and pipe network analysis nowadays would be effectively understood through the trial and error method. Frequently used are a Hardy cross method and KY method. However, these methods take too musch time in analysis the pipe network in spite of using the computer program because pipe diameter is decied by the trial and error method. To overcome this problem, programs are invented by using equivalent pipe method and compared with the analysis by KY method and ViPP method. The analysis results by KY method, ViPP method and DiA program method were very similar and the developed programs validity was proved. Water distribution area can be divided into a small area by applying equivalent pipe method. And the analysis can be faster and easier than KY method, ViPP method.
