    This study puts its principal objective on inquiring into how students' sports settings influence keeping themselves from delinquencies on the subjects of high school girls, especially on the basis of the fact that the diversified sports settings surrounding juveniles are closely related to their committing delinquencies. For that purpose randomly sampled out from girls' high schools located in the Suwon area as of 1999 were a total of 200 girls, out of which 151 were utilized, except for those who had made out insincere questionnaires. Independent variables were designated as sports settings at home, school physical education settings, and local sports settings, while five dependent variables as delinquency in interpersonal relations, and delinquency in seclusion. The question as to how much the variables affect the students' sports settings and are correlated was analysed by means of means, standard deviations, correlations, multiple regression analysis for statistic data. As a result of having tested hypotheses on the effects of juvenile sports settings upon their delinquencies, resultant findings were revealed, as follows: 1. The Effects of Sports Settings upon High School Girls' Delinquencies First, Sports settings at home will have a significant influence upon juvenile delinquencies. As a result of having conducted a multiple regression analysis to see how high school girls' sports settings affect their delinquency variables-fighting in groups, physical fights, blackmails-, it was found that they really affect delinquencies in interpersonal relations. Second, school physical education settings will have a significant influence upon juvenile delinquencies. It was revealed that the more interest they have in their school physical education settings, friends, and teachers' physical education, the less level of commission they have in delinquency in seclusion, delinquency in assets, and delinquency in interpersonal relations. Third, local community sports settings will have a significant influence upon juvenile delinquencies. It was clarified that the more interest local sports settings such as friends and people in the neighborhood, etc. take in sports activities, the lower level of commission they have in delinquency in seclusion. Furthermore, they really influence interpersonal variables such fighting in groups, physical fights, and blackmails. 2. Correlations of Sports Settings with High School Girls' Delinquencies. School physical settings has a negative correlation with delinquency in public order and delinquency in assets. This implication indicates that the higher level of commission they have in delinquency, the lower interest have in their school physical education settings. Local sports settings show a significant correlation with delinquency in interpersonal relations and delinquency in seclusion. That is to say, this result elucidates that the higher level of commission they have in delinquency in interpersonal relations and delinquency in seclusion, the more negative responses they represent to taking part in local sports settings. Sports settings at home have a correlation with delinquency in status. This implies that the worse sports settings they have at home, the closer relation they have with an increase in delinquencies in status such as drinking experience, smoking experience, entrance to prohibited areas.
