This study aims to find what a human image pursued through the 7th educational course applied by stages to elemenary and secondary schools from 2000 is and its relation to the target of elementary curricula, and to suggest some issues and countermeasures in the context of revising the 7th educational course and implementing it. The Chapter II dealt with the morphologic transition of an educational human image. Here the educational human image has its basis on educational ideas or educational objectives, and the appearance of the educational human image is established by the educational objectives. Meanwhile, educational ideas and educational objectives underlining the basis of the educational human image showed a little differences depending on times, country or pedagogic thinkers. And it can be seen that the educational human image in our country, particularly appeared in the educational course has changed by demonstrates creative ability based on basic ability; third, one who breaks a forward course based on extensive cultivation; fourth, one who creates value on the ground of understanding of our native cultures; finally, one who contributes to advance-ment of the community based on democratic citizenship. In addition, the 7th educational course gave as much emphasis to extraordinary and optional activities as to curricula. The Chapter IV investigated in details the corelationship between the educational human image and curricula targets, and the levelized educational courses introduced into the 7th educational course. Based on the result of this study, we can make the following conclusion: An educational image affected by educational ideas and educational targets is differed by age, country and person affected. In order to make the educational human image in the elementary educational course not end as a vain image but consistently flow all over the whole educational course, first, establishment of curricula targets should be based on educational ideas, educational targets and educational human image, and second, field teacher' deep understanding of educational human image should precede it and be taken as an indicator in the overall educational activities. Finally, to achieve effective educational targets, and open study for composing the educational course as an extra-curricular type should be performed away from curricular favoritism.
