Duplex stainless steels(DSS) consiting of a and □ phases forms a microstructures in which □ paticles are distributed in the αmatrix. The materials combine superior characteristics of the two phases such as corrosion resistance, formability and high strength, and have been used in many products of pressure vessels, reactors, pipes, valves, pumps and tubes of heat exchangers. Then the austenitic or the ferritic stainless steels and be substitutes to duplex stainless steels(DSS) existing ferrite and austenite phase simultaneously because DSS has profits corrosion resistance of austenite and mechanical properties of ferrite under chloride or various corrosion condition. This study developed a valve and draft functionality duplex stainless steels manufacturing technology for a pump. The nature that different alloy compared with international alloy on manufacture, and a PRE price and a chromium equivalent were mechanical by a DSS alloy design and corrosion resistance were excellent. After heat treatmented in optimum tempered condition on this study used to alloy, the linear relationship among the critical pitting temperature and pitting corrosion resistance index and passivation behavior were nonexistent by influence of the two phases. Because of low deviation of the critical pitting temperature, D2301 and D2002 was suitable for productive aspect. DSS compared with tempered-specimens, and the CPT decreased to an influence of time in case of aged-specimens greatly, and on the other hand the hardness rose. Relation between low cr systems and equivalent rain and ferrite contents to work on High Cr systems was able to confirm that DSS was different each other.
