    It is stress that is the most rampant and most avoided factor in metropolitan life. It was previously thought that only juveniles or adults are stress receivers. However, now, we have to perceive that healthy children who are raised in a very normal family can experience various types of stressful events. The voice for studies that examine efficient ways to lessen children's stress is rising more than ever. This study aims to go over the effects of meditation music with nature sound, in stress reduction. The research pool was drawn from 80 6th grade elementary school students in Chang-Won. The group was divided half into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group was furnished with meditation music, in the morning for 20 minutes 5 times a week, and this program lasted 2 months. Therefore, the music was provided for a total of 20 times for 20 hours. However, the control group was not provided with the music. The arranged meditation music was titled A Mantle of Green from Vol.4 of the Sanctuary series, which recorded nature sounds for meditation purposes. The survey sheet, Stress questionnaire, was composed by the researcher, with a reference of Keum-Sook, Kim (2001). To supplement the quantity limit, answer sheets were collected 3 times. A stress measure test was performed in the designated time, and the test was done separately before and after providing the music. The test effect was analyzed by the repeated variables measurement analysis. Each group's pre and post music effect on stress was processed with the corresponding sample t-test, and all statistical process was used with the SPSS program. The result showed that the nature sound meditation music has an overall stress reduction effect. To be definite, the nature sound meditation music reduced the stress in children's private life, family life and social life. However, it has a partial influence on school life related stress. To be concrete, it reduced a stress level for schoolwork stress, instructor relationship stress and other general stresses. However, it failed to have a purposive effect in stress reduction for companion related stress. In conclusion, it is surmised that nature sound meditation music can help elementary students to reduce stress and to lead a healthy and sound life. It could be worthwhile to apply this tool in the educational environment.
