Executed a cultivation and pot experiment to discover the direct effects of Glycine gracilis Skvorzow on Pb(20, 40, 80, 160μM) and Cd(10, 20, 40, 80μM) of various density to find out hindrance in seed germination and growth by heavy metals in beans and physiological change. As the density of heavy metals increased, the amount of dry weight rate and the length of growth rate decreased. In the case of Cd, the growth speed decreased considerably on the whole, the growth of root decreased remarkably than the shoot. According to measurement measured of Pb and Cd content through the AA analysis, the absorption rate in root was the highest, followed by the shoot and the leaves. The results of the experiment show that on the last day of the analysis the root was 3 to 4 times higher than the shoot. This shows that the heavy metals' retention of the root is very high. In seed germination experiment, the root had serious curvature, black spots and short root hair. The plants which grow in the pots have serious necrosis and chlorosis symptom as the density grows higher. In the physiological change, as the concentration grew higher, the chlorophyll density of leaves decreased and the lipid peroxidase product(malondialdehyde) and ascorbate peroxidase increased. As a conclusion this study suggests that the change of the oxidative stress and the protective scavenging enzymes by the malondialdehyde and ascorbate peroxidase can be the cause of the chlorophyll decrease and the abnormal growth of plants which are exposed Pb and Cd.
