    This study set out to verify what kind of effects an MMTIC-using program would have on sixth graders' career awareness in group career counseling. The subjects were 76 drawn from the sixth graders attending S Elementary School in Kimhae City. 38 of them formed the experiment group and the rest 38 formed the control group. The former had an MMTIC-using program applied while the latter were given no treatments. Based on the findings of those researchers that studied the effects of the old MMTIC-related group career counseling programs and on the previous studies of career counseling, group counseling, career searching and career education programs, the investigator reorganized the MMTIC program to fit the level of elementary schoolers. The investigator applied the newly revised group career counseling program to the experiment group two times a week. Total 12 sessions were provided and each session lasted for 60 minutes. Before running the program, both the groups were administered a career development inventory, which was followed by the application of the MMTIC-using program to the experiment group and no treatments at all for the control group. After the experiment group finished the program, both the groups were administered the same inventory. The differences between the two groups were examined and the results were as follows: First, under the hypothesis that 'The experiment group that used the MMTIC-using program in group career counseling will have significant differences in their career awareness before and after the program compared to the control group.' there were found significant differences in such subareas as career orientation, understanding of job, rationality, and self-understanding. But the program had little impacts on the experiment group in the subareas of gender bias in jobs, self-respect, and autonomy. Second, the second hypothesis, 'The experiment group that used the MMTIC-using program in group career counseling will have significant differences in their career awareness before and after the program according to their temperaments.' was examined, and the program had little impacts on the experiment group according to their temperaments. After examining both the hypotheses, 'The experiment group that used the MMTIC-using program in group career counseling will have significant differences in their career awareness before and after the program compared to the control group.' and 'The experiment group that used the MMTIC-using program in group career counseling will have significant differences in their career awareness before and after the program according to their temperaments.' the following conclusions were drawn; the comparison between the experiment group and the control group confirmed the significant differences in some subareas; and the differences in career awareness of the experiment group according to their temperaments were not verified.
