In this paper, efficiency optimized controller of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor is proposed. The high performance of driver system is settled according to how to control motor. It is very difficult problem but recent interest in the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor has increased in the context of possible application in the field oriented ac drive. In this paper, a method of max-torque per min-current control in the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor is proposed to improve the motor control application. In the application of continuous long tine operation such as electric vehicles, elevator driver, servo system and compressor drive, the efficiency of the motor is one of the most important factors. And this paper presents a position sensor-less control scheme of optimized interior permanent magnet synchronous motor combining voltage injection synchronized with PWM carrier in the all control region. The rotor position angle is calculated using the d, q stator current. The high performance drive characteristics and the feasibility of the proposed method under full operating conditions are verified by using 10.2kW interior permanent magnet synchronous motor.
