    Supply Chain Management(SCM) is a Business term that has emerged in the last few years and is gaining in popularity. It seems to be replacing more of the tranditional terms used to describe the management of material and service flow. The Summary of the research results is as follows; Fist, the relationship between supplier and buyer should be changed from adversary and vertical relationship to cooperative one. And this cooperative relationship needs the mutual trust and partnership between supplier and buyer. Second, the most important factors identified in this research are information technology followed by interorganizational coordination, supplier and buyer relationship and planning & control. These factors are needed for successful implemenration of supply chain management and maximizing performance. Third, this research indicates that Information technology provides powerful technological infrastructure for the companies in a supply chain to integrate or break the organizational boundaries, however, managing across functional and company boundaries is also required. Fourth, this research indicates that the supply chain management should be implemented according to dependent industrial characteristics and market situation The findings in this paper are expected to provide a new insight into supplier-buyer relationship and the firm's strategy to implement supply chain management successfully.
