    The present study examined the relationship between attachment to parents, sociality, and school adjustment of elementary school children. Also, the level of attachment to parents, sociality, and school adjustment investigated in this study. So, I selected students(boys: 271, girls: 262, fifth grade: 235, sixth grade: 297) with no standard in Changwon D elementary school. Three measure instrument, which are revised IPPA( The Inventory of Parents and Peer Attachment). To figure out the degree of elementary student sociality, the sociality instrument for character type test developed by Yang Byounghan and the instrument based on Kim Donghwan(1992)'s sound sociality test made by Lee Sangmyoung(2002) were used for measurement. Finally the revised questionnaire, that are made up by Kwon Youngbok(2002) and used by Jung Boksoon(2002) and Kim Jinho(2002), were used to see how well elementary school students adjust themselves to school. Yang Byounghan(2003 school adjustment measure reanalysis,) recently reanalyzed and arranged Jung Boksoon(2002) and Kim Jinho(2002)'s research papers. For result analysis, SPSS 10.0 statistics process programme were used. The results are as follows. First, there was significant difference between attachment to mother with attachment to father. Second, there was no difference between boys and girls for attachment to their parents. Third, there was difference in attachment to their parents according to grade. Fourth, there was significant difference between girls' sociality with boys' sociality. Fifth, there was difference in sociality according to grade. Sixth, there was difference in school adjustment, peer relationship, and teacher relationship according to sex. Seventh, there was no difference in school adjustment according to grade. However there was difference in teacher-student relationship that is the subordinary factor of school adjustment according to grade. Eighth, have influence of attachment to parents on sociality. Ninth, have influence of attachment to parents on school adjustment, peer relationship, teacher relationship, learning aptitude, and school life. Tenth, sociality a higher relation with school adjustment than with attachment to parents. Especially sociality had a much higher relation with peer relationship. According to above research outcomes, the students with stable attachment to parents have higher sociality and school adjustment. However sociality has more impact on school adjustment. Therefore, it is important to focus on various program development and involvement for sociality improvement as well as attachment to parents.
