    This research is to study whether an enneagram is available to primary school students as a tool for self-growth of children by reconstructing and performing the enneagram program for those children. In advance of developing the program, I have researched the advance research on meaning of self-growth to consulting, an enneagram and self-growth and consulting program for self-growth, and also have reconstructed and performed the enneagram workshop information for adult targeted to sixth grader over two years in order to know whether the enneagram can be applicable to children. As a result, it was shown that a lot of children were interested in self-understanding through the enneagram. Also in Song, Ye Soon's study which proposes the enneagram program for outcast protection, these research has been to be opportunity to confirm the necessity of this program. In addition to, this program was reconstructed for subjects to be suitable for performance and character of children by referring to 「The enneagram of Parenting」translated by Kim, Hyun Jeong(2001), 「Discover of 9 types of understanding people」translated by Choi, Yeon Sil(1997), The Lowest Class for Enneagram Workshop」by Lee, Soon Ja(2000), 「Enneagram」 by Hwang, Zi Yeon(2001), 「Resurfacing」 by Palmer(1997) and other research documents. A frame of the qualitative approach among enneagram performance diagnosing methods was used for this program. The frame consists of total 10 sessions of instruction, self-understanding, other's-understandins, other's-understanding, self-growth and conclusion, and operating time of each session is 80 minutes. Each session consists of unique subject such as opening mind, my center following-up, taking on a time machine, finding-out me, 'you' and 'me' shown in a daily life, when I love and hate me, to loving me, we are the one. To increase effects of the program, I applied the program to 41 children of one class in sixth grade of C elementary school located at C city. I classified statements by 15 children (4 boys and 11 girls) who attended the entire course of the program and prepared the activity paper and the experience report, and analyzed qualitatively the documents focused to self-understanding and other's-understanding, and changes and self-growth. As results of the program, as a session proceeds, effects of self-growth has been appeared in order of self-understanding, other's-understanding including his/her friends, self-acceptance, other's-acceptance, self-development, relationship with friends, etc. Also in response of a subject by each region, it shown that the program could be a great help to self-understanding, other's-understanding, changes and self-growth. Conclusion of this research is that the enneagram program for children can be useful for school sites as a tool for self-growth by allowing children to recognize their negative figure as the negative one in self-understanding, and to improve the relationship with their friends by understanding them well in other's-understanding and to love themselves with self-confidence and contribute to self-development in changes and self-growth.
