    This paper discusses the development of the ±0.1℃ high-precision inverter type oil controlling system. Because production processing is becoming quick, automatic, and artificial recently, modern machine tools are also required to be more speedy, accurate and functional. However, this speedy machine tool necessarily generate heat on drive system, and this kind of matter results in thermal deformation of the universal machine part. So, this phenomenon has been a harmful effect on the degree of precision and reliability of the machine. Therefore, recent machine tools essentially attach oil cooler to cool for the Main Spindle which is running at high speed, and Ball Screw, Guide Way, etc. The current oil cooler which uses the ON-OFF control method is only able to control ±1℃. As a result, it can't respond to consecutively varying load and repeating start and stop operations increase the operation cost. However, the oil cooler which uses variable compressor operated by inverter can respond to the load and cool the cooling oil. consequently, there are some advantages that can improve the degree of machine tool processing, and at the same time, it can decrease rate of consuming electricity. In this paper, it is presented how to design the control system of oil cooler that is able to control ±0.1℃ high degree of temperature using these variable speed compressor and Microcontroller(AVR).
