    This paper analyzes various traffic characteristics, shows effective algorithm of traffic generation, and applied to a traffic generator of simulation system. It proposes and implements a traffic generator that creates the simulation packets with single distribution or mixed distribution modes. This approach provides a mechanism for the traffic generator to simulate the proper traffic pattern. In addition, users can easily use this tool with its intuitive and simple user interface. Existing most network simulation tools show the analysis results using only mathematical distribution, but this system operates in the same methods as real network environment by creating actual traffic. This system has a shortcoming that it takes long time to simulate a designed network. Also users are required to have knowledge about mathematical probability distribution to create traffic. These make users difficult to create suitable traffic and unfamiliar with traffic generator. Therefore, with a proposed traffic generator, users can create simulation traffic without difficulty by providing default parameters at each phase of traffic generation. Generation and simulation time should be shortened with advanced algorithms. This study requests detailed analyses of the traffic for applications with regard to efficiency and accuracy. This needs be provided the configuration of the various parameters. It should be added the control to regulate the ratio of distributions in mix mode of frame level.
