    The mechanism design is synthesis of suitable mechanism which can be a output motion about a input motion. That has two steps which are the type synthesis and the dimensional synthesis. And required mechanism analysis step for confirming middle or final result. The type synthesis is definition of mechanism type which required aim and the dimensional synthesis is calculation of dimension about defined type mechanism. In this paper, proposed that three methods for mechanism design automation. Those methods are the component modular design method, the component modular analysis method and the dimensional synthesis method using genetic algorithm. And develop three CAD(Computer Aided Program) program for application. The type synthesis of mechanism is included qualitative design field which isn't defined systematic design method. especially, the most difficult step for mechanism design automation. In this paper proposed the component modular design method which is figured mechanism types automate with component modules using component modular approach. The Component modular analysis method is for a general-propose mechanism. Most of methods restrict a planar mechanism. But, most of mechanisms is made up multi-planar mechanism. So proposed expanded component modular analysis method using coordinate transformation for multi-planar mechanism. A general dimensional synthesis method can't design about over number of precision points. but frequently problems of dimensional synthesis are required optimized solutions about over number of precision points. In this paper proposed that dimensional synthesis method based on genetic algorithm for seared optimized solutions. CAD program are developed using proposed method in the paper for mechanism design automation. finally, we presents examples for confirm the proposed methods and computer program and materialize. mechanism design automation presents final example, weft insertion mechanism design of weaving machine.
