    This study was designed to find out the effect of Synchronicity contemporary meditation music program on the students' self-esteem who went to technical high schools and lacked needs and self- confidence for learning. The hypothesis for the purpose of the study which resulted from reviewing theoretical background was as follows. Firstly, test group who participates in Synchronicity contemporary meditation music program may show significant difference in self- esteem compared with control group who doesn't participate in it. Secondly, test group who participate in Synchronicity contemporary meditation music program may show significant difference in general, social, school-related, and home-related factor which are sub-factors of self-esteem, compared with control group who doesn't participate in it. To demonstrate the hypothesis above, 30 students who went to C high school located in Changwon City participated in a survey, and they were broken down into test group and control group comprised of 15 students respectively. Measuring tool for participants' self-esteem was the "Self-Esteem Inventory" which was first designed by Coopersmith(1967) then revised by Ju Nam-Hee(1994) and Hwang Chan-Goo(1998) for high school students, and score was provided, divided into main factors and sub-factors. As the study tool the paradigm and composition of basic course of Synchronocity Meditation Music Program which Synchronicity Foundation held on the regular basis was basically taken but the duration and practice were translated into high school students' conditions after some review. Test group was provided with the program for 60 minutes everyday, a total of 14 times, after school, while control group was never provided with it. Both groups were supposed to receive not only post-program test but pre-program test. In the statistical process, on-average and standard deflection were calculated based on the hypothesis using the score of test and control group in self-esteem, which resulted from the pre- and post-test, and to find out the significance of on-average score and on-average deflection between two groups, t-test was provided. Finally,<hypothesis Ⅰ>was true because the score of test group who participated in Synchronicity contemporary music meditation program was increased, compared with control group who didn't participate in it, and the difference in score between two groups was significant. Secondly,<hypothesis Ⅱ>, <hypothesis Ⅲ>, and <hypothesis Ⅵ>was also true because after the program test group who participated in it showed increase in sub-factors of self-esteem such as general, social, school-related self-esteem, compared with control group who didn't participate in it. However, in home-related self-esteem there wasn't any difference, which suggested that home-related factor had great influence on the formation of self-esteem, and so to improve it both school and parents should continuously pay attention to students with love. In addition to the statistical analysis above, description which was written by students after experiencing the program indicated that Synchronicity contemporary meditation music program contributed to the emotional equilibrium, self-understanding, and self-confidence which were all related with self-esteem as well as to self-esteem itself.
