    Gas service station is one of VOCs emission sources. VOCs emission from gas service station is, in general, occurred in process of breathing at underground storage tank, loading fuel into the reservoir from tank truck, and injecting the fuel to automobiles at station. To estimate emission characteristics of VOCs from gasoline storage tank, cylindrical tank simulators were used with gasoline and light oil. The qualitative and quantitative analysis of VOCs was carried out with several parameters such as the kinds and the temperature of petroleum, the filled volume of gasoline in tank, and filling method. In case of breathing at storage tank, VOCs emission was significantly affected by temperature. The filled volume of gasoline in tank and the surface of liquid phase were also influenced to VOCs emission. VOCs generation was increased with gasoline temperature and the surface of liquid phase. Paraffin was the highest fraction of gasoline, followed by Aromatics, Olefin, and Naphthene. VOCs emission from light oil could be negligible in contrast with gasoline. The main components of gasoline vapor were Alkanes such as i-pentane, i-butane and n-pentane and they were contained over 70%. The gas composition of VOCs calculated by Raoult`s law was good agreement with the measured value. In case of filling gasoline into the storage tank, VOCs emission was mainly dependant upon the filled amount, the temperature, the loading rate, and the filling method of gasoline. According to filling gasoline into the reservoir, gasoline vapor has existed in storage tank is excluded to atmosphere. Although VOCs was slightly generated as compared with the gasoline vapor excluded by filling, VOCs emission was increased with the temperature and the filling rate of gasoline. Splash filling method was accelerated VOCs emission more than submerged filling method
