(A) study on the Fire Cause Analysis of the HIV Wire

It is observed in this study that the fire aspect and the fire progress phenomenon which is occurred at external flame and overload with the HIV wire which is using at general electricity structure or home interior wiring of less than AC 600V. And it is analyzed that the surface structure and the cross section structure of short-circuit HIV wire conductor using stereoscopic microscope(GX-51), scanning microscope(FE-SEM, S-4300). At the experimentation result in the case of giving the external flame, it is seems to be distinguished that the fire progress of electric wire's insulator with charring, but there is happening of shorted of electric wire by temperature rise with the giving continuous flame. At this time, the scattering of short-circuit trace could make the fire occurrence forecast by scattering happening And it is confirmed that the HIV wire insulation cover is partial charred with white smoke and dilated with the bubble type within 60 seconds and after 100 seconds passed it is confirmed that the electric wire conductor is melting cut in the case of given excess current of 300% in HIV wire. As the result which analyzed of short-circuit electric wire conductor with stereoscopic microscope(GX-51) and scanning microscope(FE-SEM, S-4300) we can confirm that the electric wire which has short-circuited by external fire is observed oxidation with thin lump in surface, and the electric wire which has short-circuited by excess current is extremely crack happened in internal conductor of electric wire. The study make us known that the form of electric wire conductor changes according to the effects of heat indeed in effect of force that also receive in inside itself from electric wire outside thereby.
