    Recently embedded systems have been widely used in many applications such as industry, home appliances, offices and militaries. Wireless communication techniques provides more convenience combined with embedded systems. This paper presents an implementation scheme for low-powered wireless LAN in embedded systems. Power consumption can be reduced by using energy saving components. But we found out there is an another ways to reduce power consumption by changing software be reduced by using energy saving components. In wireless LAN systems, there are five operating modes relating power consumptions. They are transmit, receive, idle, sleep, and off modes. We believe that power savings can be achieved by controlling operating modes. In this paper, low-powered schemes for wireless LAN implementation are proposed and tested using the LDS2000 development tool on the ad-hoc network.
