    This study was conducted to develop of clean-up system(Bioreactor system) of river water which is safe in ecosystem and purification in river. The results summarized as follows. 1. It was surveyed at riverwater quality it picks the rivers possibility of 5 points in 2 week intervals. The BOD was showed 34.7mg/L in the Maehocheon, 28.5mg/L in the Omogcheon, 11.7mg/L in the Yangcheon, 4.6mg/L in the Namcheon and 1,74.6mg/L in the Kum-Ho river. 2. For purification of contaminated riverwater with biological control process, environmental standards 3 grade, retention time of activated sludge process was in 4.25 hr and Bioball media system was 2.45hr, Saranlock media system was 3.3hr, and HBC media system was 2.9hr. So the Bioball media system was most excellent it appeared. 3. The removal efficiency of BOD of biological process with the media for 4 hours was showed that Bioball was 79.6% HBC was 77.5% and Saranlock was 74.7%. therefore Bioball media was showed most excellent it. 4. To investigation of optimum conditions of Bioball packing ratio in HRT 4 hours, BOD removal efficiency was 75.4% at 20% packing ratio, 79.6% at 30% packing ratio, 82.1% at 40% packing ratio in Bioball media. The optimum packing ratio of Bioball for BOD removal efficiency was 30% which considers at economical efficiency because did not increase plentifully appeared 30 % with. 5. The reaction time for total nitrogen removal with zeolite, it will be able to display 90 % above of absorption ability of the zeolite to be investigated with the fact that 30 minutes it is appeared 0.8g/L zeolite. 6. The optimum volume ratio for removal of nutrient-salt in riverwater in anoxic and aerobic tank at HRT 4 hours, it was showed removal efficiency of T-N of 1:1 was 41.8 %, 1:2 was 49.1 %, 1:3 was 47.3 %. they were investigated with the optimum removal efficiency of T-N was 1:2. 7. Using contaminated riverwater in the average BOD was 19.5mg/L, it was controlled 1st treatment with the zeolite and then it controlled and 2nd treatment with the bioball media system. which was became the BOD 3.4mg/L, the T-N 1.2mg/L, the T-P 0.39mg/L. The developed system(Bioreactor system) was getting the possibility which below the environmental standards 3 grade which appears is good.
