The purpose of this study was to analyze women's gymnastics beam balance performance composition and task difficulty. Subjects were 8 women gymnasts who participated in Summer Universiade Daegu 2003. The code of point women 2001-2004 available between the year of 2001 and 2004 had shown the following results based on the value table and video tape recording the procedures of gymnasts' performance and the degree of difficulty in their movements. We can single out the 8 best deductive characteristics in this research. The first is that mostly important, in part of the relative difficulty, all gymnasts haven't tried the movements at the high level of relative difficulty. The lack of technical accuracy causes their getting the bad marks. The second is that at the chance of getting appointed bonus marks, before conducting movements in the additional high level relative difficulty, gymnasts haven't give it a try in appropriate better performances. The third is that the 360 movements in the A relative difficulty, the flic-flac with tep out movements in the B , the leap and jump in the C, Salto forward tucked and Tuck Jump with 1/1 turn 360 relative difficulty and the going up and down movements are most frequently performed in each relative difficulty. At the more diffult E relative difficulty, the Leap movement. Through above trials, we can get the solid and clear cut evidences for the gymnasts' preference not of the acrobatic elements but of the gymnastic elements in relative difficulty. The fourth is that the gymnast from Ukraine get the 0.20 bonus point in additional marks given to the high relative difficulty. So he got the honor to be the player of them who received the additional marks. Each representative gymnast from Japan, China, and North Korea gets the 0.20 point a person. Especially, Yong-sil from North Korea, and Choi Min-young from South Korea get 0.10 point individually and equally. But the Russian gymnast couldn't get any score in this sphere. And what is worse, the Polander gymnast hadn't had a tral, either. The fifth is that there are five requirements in special compulsory condition. In every trial, gymnasts are easily apt to get the 0.20 demerit marks in their fallacies. Despite of all the gymnasts' trials for these conditions , seven of them were dropped out. The only gymnast who survived is Choi Min-young from South Korea in the C relative difficulty. But, with much regret, he couldn't conform the prerequisites of going down movements in the D relative difficulty, either. The sixth is that considering the performance composition, the skill of Korean gymnasts are much inferior to that of Ukraine and chinese gymnasts. And, in addition, in aspects of techniques and getting Bonus, We Korean gymnasts couldn't demonstrate their own splendid performances. When we take it into consideration of the accuracy and dexterity of skill always stick together the practice, their low marks came out of practice. Finally, the seventh is that none of the eight gymnasts came up to the full score 10 marks at the maximum value.
