    As the web sites are the one of the important resource of company, many companies operate their own web sites on internet. The main purpose of this research is to evaluate the web site of leading company in Korea. For this research, the web site of 100 leading companies were visited and checked according to check sheets. The main item of check sheets are information, network to other company, communication, security and design. To evaluate the visited web site of leading company, 3 major methods were adopted. (1) The data that checked were compared among each company and business category, so the difference of each business category were found. (2) The changes of web contents were researched by comparing with the evaluation result of year 1998. (3) The difference between leading companies of Korea and Fortune 500 companies was researched. The major findings are summarized as follows. First, all of the companies provide their information like news, overview, financial, stock, employment and others. Second, leading company of Korea has strong contents in e-commerce. Over than 50% companies operate e-commerce in their web sites. Third, major communication method to customer was changed compare than year 1998. Only 24% has bulletin board but 67% of companies have internal mail system to communicate with web visitors.
