    The curriculum of mathematics based on the 7th curriculum focuses on fostering independent and creative students who fit into the global and informational world by encouraging them to increase their mathematical power. This enables students to solve the actual problem in easier and more rational way and to have the necessary ability to meet the requirement of our society. For this reason, the practical mathematics now taught as a selected subject in standard high schools emphasize on the practical aspect according to the need of students. Students can use a calculator or a computer more often to solve the actual problem and get an opportunity to have more interesting learning. Unfortunately, the teaching methods now used in real educational field are not reaching the goal. The contents of the text book can't meet the interest and need of students, and are not useful enough to apply to their real life. And teachers don't have enough knowledge and technical skills on computers so they feel difficulty in teaching students. To solve all these problems, the most important thing is to improve the educational environment. For sucess or failure of education depends on teachers, it is important for them to learn teaching methods consistently. Thus, actual educational courses need to be organized and given to students in the University of Education. Furthermore, the teachers need to take gradual courses and re-education constantly.
