Shelley was a poet so much vigorous for the realization of Idealistic Society for all people over the whole world on earth. As a representative of Free Mind of human beings, he made the best of his sharp reasoning-system in mind effectively. With the help of delicate thought-processes, he could come to the very region in which his ideal enables his mind live for good without hurting itself. Like this, Shelley's prime weapon for struggling against twisted-custom and prejudice alive in people's inner hearts disguising themselves as righteous things was Reason in mind. He was strongly influenced by William Godwin. His works reflect his understanding and adoption of Godwin's belief. He placed the reform of the human community at the center of his thought and literature. His concept of what it should be is so far beyond established orders as to be called utopian. This study begins with the presumption that Shelley's literary and political point is patterned with three lines: the poet as an individual, reality, and utopia. It also suggests Shelley's struggle as two-folded; he should not only have fought against anti-reform powers, but he should have also explored the untrodden road for establishing utopian aesthetics. This essay mostly deals with "Declartion of Rights", Esdaile Notebook and Promethues Unbound in terms of Shelley's attack on authoritarianism and his skepticism of the early Romantic poets. Shelley learned a deep and wide knowledge of his life concerning to the stance and the plight between man and man from the affliction of his personal miseries, and he tried to break down a thick wall between the actual and the ideal. Such his strong desire was spouted from Prometheus Unbound, He wished eagerly a happy and peaceful world without fraud and hatred, poverty and suffering, and evilness and oppression in this work. He was confronted by various obstacles, however, which were right beside him in the course of his making ultimate dreams come true. Therefore, he needed some protection as a breakthrough desperately at that time and Love approached him as a savior. This meant he found Retreat in which he could rest himself whenever he needed in the end. In addition to just a shelter, his love for Woman brought his Free Spirit to Perfection and this guaranteed his Ideal for reasonable society already had its solid foundation likely to remain steady and stable forever. Shelley had dreamed of a perfect society where every person could enjoy their lives freely from his schooldays. Shelley tried to find the most powerful factor which could make his dream available in reality and determined that political factor was the One. As a matter of course his journey for Utopia begins from that moment. In his eyes so many people seemed to be suffering from the horrible Oppression of tyrannical leaders of each nation. Therefore he wanted to give those people liberty with which they could behave and think as their instinct directs at least. Now an idea comes to his mind that just words cannot make anything possible and real action is needed. The best and easiest choice for him to act was writing and he wrote his ideas and thoughts on papers. His opinions as to how much every individual can make his or her human rights guaranteed are well expressed in "Declartion of Rights". For Shelley, the reasonable society for people was not far from them. He regarded the indispensable factor for Utopia as freedom in mind and liberty in body. No matter how freely a person can move here and there, he or she can face unhappy reality. That means people needed something more secure for their everlasting happiness and Shelley suggests inner freedom as the solution. He could be free from every obstacle only with that and he wanted to let every person know it.
