    The difference following the Korean peninsula's separation over 50 years is growing in various parts. Even though continuous interchange has been made between the two parts, the effect has turned out to be very weak. However, the trend has turned through efforts in each stratum of society and the Reunification is no more a superficial task but a real task. The problem here is that the effort has been focused in political matters. We are overlooking the importance of overcoming the cultural, national difference and recovering homogeneity to reduce confusion after the Reunification. In other words, the first thing to do is to recover national homogeneity. One way of achieving this is to know and understand N.Korea which has been veiled for a long period of time. I would introduce two ways to better understand N.Korea among many other methods. First way is to examining education which has been used as a measure to sustain Kim, Jung-il's hereditary monarch. Secondly, music is all around us because music affects human development of emotions and feelings. Therefore, understanding of N.Korean music can make an access to emotional approach to different sentiments. Likewise, a study of N.korean school music educatiion can lead us to better understand N.Korea. This thesis has its purpose in finding similarities and differences between N&S.Korea and researching N.Korean educational process and school music education at the same time. To achieve this goal, comparing and analyzing N&S.korean educational process and N&S.korean textbook have been made following eventual study of a scheme to stabilizing renuified Korean peninsula. Focusing the difference as it is shown to us is not a right approach to find national identity when various efforts are made in each stratum of society. Making the foundation to become one nation again through overcoming this difference is an essential way to develop national power in the new millennium. The thesis has its purpose in awakening the seriousness of the difference prohibiting our national unification creating a new future of our nation.
