Generation of Signal Source for Ultra-Wide-Band Communications

In this paper a signal source of Ultrawide-band(UWB) by Impulse Forming Network (IFN) is generated for a Ultrawide-band communications. For this purpose, pulse shapes have been classified into four categories: rectangular, impulse, monocycle and step one. The choice of a signal depends upon the amplitude, rise time, pulse duration, and degree of control that are needed. To understand the UWB signal, various generator types and their pulse shapes were investigated. A worldwide interests in the UWB wireless systems hare been increased greatly with the release market because of the new wireless communication method for a wide area network as RF Home Network, Intelligent Security Zone, Automotive Sensors, Mobile Communication, GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) etc..
