In this research, we have implemented the under-water image communication system using commercial DSPs. We have implemented the transmitter using the TMS320C6711 DSP processor and the receiver have been implemented using the ASP-S60 DSP board. Also, when we implemented the proposed communication system we used the BDPA(Block Data Parallel Architecture) in order to make the system real-time. We have analyzed the performance of the proposed communication system using the data collected from the reflection-free water tank in KRISO. And we found out that 9600 bps data with 38 ㎑ carrier frequency signal can be communicated using the proposed system in the water.
