    This study was conducted to produce high quality meat type chicken with Korean Native Chicken(KNC) and Korean Native Ogol Chicken. Experiment 1 aimed to estimate performance of 3 varieties of KNC(D, L and B varieties), Rhode Island Red(R) and 3 crossbreds【(1/2D, 1/2L, 1/2B)·1/2R】, and to establish optimum feeding program of crossbreds. Performance test, establishment of feeding system, and investigation of meat characteristics of 1/2C×(1/2D, 1/2L, 1/2B)×1/2R) also occurred in the experiment 1. Experiment 2 aimed to determine performance and meat characteristics, and to establish feeding system for high quality meat type chicken production.
