    The purpose of this study is to analyse and present the hierarchy of educational contents on measurement domain in mathematics. The concrete problems based on the need and purpose of this study were as following ; First, what hierarchy is mathematics curriculum composed of? Second, how can hierarchy of the learning contents on the measurement domain in mathematics be classified? Finally, what are the rank frames of the learning problems? As the method of this study, literature review is used, and the main materials which were used for solving the problems were The Curriculum of Mathematics(The appendix 8 published by the Ministry of Education in 1997), The Explanation of Elementary School Curriculum Ⅳ(published by the Ministry of Education in 1999), The Explanation of Middle School Curriculum Ⅲ(published by the Ministry of Education in 1999), and The Explanation of High School Curriculum(published by the Ministry of Education in 1995). As assistant materials, Mathematics Textbooks of Elementary, Middle and High School(published by the Ministry of Education in 1998; O Byeong Seung, 1998; Bak Du Il and 3 others, 1998), The Manual for Elementary School Teachers, The Manual for Middle School Teachers, The Manual for High School Teachers, and The Materials Relevant to Mathematics were studied. For pushing around the study, this study followed the sequence; The analysis on the hierarchy of educational contents in elementary and secondary school curriculum → The analysis on educational contents' hierarchy in measurement domain → The analysis on the hierarchy of educational contents in mathematics manuals of elementary and secondary school → The analysis on the hierarchy of educational contents in mathematics textbooks of elementary and secondary school and the reference materials relevant to mathematics and curriculum. As the result of this study, the learning problems of measurement domain in mathematics can be classified into the field of length and weight, hour and time, angle, area of figure, containing and bulk, approximate quantity and domain of inequality field. The conclusion which can be presented as the result of the study is ; Learning in measurement domain can be subdivided into Length, Weight, Hour, Time, Angle, Area of Figure(surface area of solid figure), Containing(bulk), Approximate quantity, and Domain of inequality. The learning process of Length can be subdivided into(about 7 stages) from 'long or short' to calculating the length of a sector's arc. The learning process of Weight can be subdivided into(about 4 stages) from 'heavy or light' to identifying the case in which new unit 'ton' is used. The learning process of Hour can be subdivided into(about 5 stages) from 'one second unit' to 24 hours. The learning process of Time can be subdivided into(about 5 stages) from 'one second unit' to a year. The learning process of Angle can be subdivided into(about 6 stages) from 'one degree unit' to using the trigonometric ratio in everyday life, The learning process of Figure-Area(surface area of solid figure) can be subdivided into(about 18 stages) which begins with the area of a plane figure and leads to surface area of a solid figure. The learning process of Containing(bulk) can be subdivided into (about 8 stages) form 'much or little' to calculating the bulk of a solid figure. The learning process of Approximate quantity can be subdivided into (about 5 stages) from 'guessing' to measured value and an approximate quantity. Finally, The learning process of Domain of inequality can be subdivided into(about 3 stages) which begins with solving the minimum problem and leads to the maximum.
