Until now, cadastral data has been managed separately as drawing map and record. However, as cadastral map became computerized and the record and drawing map are managed as united spatial and attribute data, it is proposed for cadastral survey to convert from analogue survey to digital survey. This study aims to analyze the types of current cadastral systems and cadastral survey and propose the improvement plans of cadastral survey. For this purpose, the study executed plane table surveying by graphical cadastral as well as numerical surveying by boundary point coordinate using a numerical map established by cadastral map computerizing business and compared the outcomes by the coordinates. As results, the result by numerical surveying was analyzed as more accurate than the result of the plane table surveying. This shows an inevitable error, which can be occurred with graphical cadastral survey that has wider range of tolerance that it explains natural result to convert the survey method according to the computerization of cadastral map to numerical survey. Therefore, this study proposed the directions for cadastral survey to advance according to the computerization of cadastral map as follows. First, it should be converted for local coordinates that is establishes as independent systems respectively like unification origin, separated small triangulation origin, early separated small triangulation origin, to world coordinates. Second, the plane table surveying by graphical cadastral should be converted as numerical survey by computerized data of cadastral map. Thirdly, for the perfect computerization of cadastral map, it is necessary to make a continuous map from the separated computerized data, which is composed according to the map quadrangles, the reduced scales, and jurisdictions. Forth, it is required to foster human resources for the computerization of cadastral map.
