The purpose of this study was to identify relationships RelationshipsBetween Scientific Attitude and Problem Solving Behavior of Secondary Schooll students. Hypotheses of this study were as follows : (1) There will be significant correlations between problem solving behavior and scientific attitude. (2) Correlations between scientific attitudes and problem solving behavior will be different among genders. (3) Correlations between scientific attitudes and problem solving behavior will be different among school levels. (4) There will be significant multiple correlations between problem solving behavior and scientific attitude. Subjects of this study were 239 middle school students (129 boys and 110 girls) and 251 high school students (122 boys and 129 girls) selected randomly in two middle school and two high schools in Jinju. Mainfindings of this study were as follows : First the better the scientific attitude of secondary students is. the more effective the behavior process for scientific problem solving gets. Second, no difference is found between boy students and girl students in Correlations between scientific attitude and problem solving. Third, there is no difference among the levels of schools in Correlations between scientific attitude and problem solving. Fourth, one of the common subordinate elements of scientific attitude which decide the problem solving of secondary students is creativity. In addition, openmindedness and critical attitude in middle school students are important elements. However, patience and creativity are the main elements which decide the problem solving in high school students.
